Right-click (or Control-Click with some computer) on the file name of the item you wish to download, then choose "Save Target As..." from the pop-up menu, navigate to where on your hard drive you want to save the file, and then click "Save". The file will then be downloaded to your hard drive.

Most of these maps are in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format. Most page layout programs will allow you to place/import/insert a pdf as a graphic. The fonts have been vectorized, so you should have no font issues when using these files. If the last sentence makes no sense to you, don't worry about it.
