The Barony of Namron

Welcome to the Barony of Namron!

The Barony of Namron is a local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. Learn a little more about our barony on our introduction page.

Where Are The Practices?

The next few chivalric fighter practices will be held at Reaves Park in Norman, the park where Medieval Faire was held. These run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

Rapier Fighting and Archery are being held at the same time and same place: each Sunday, weather permitting, at 3 p.m. at Lord Sebastiana's. The address is 19300 SE 149th Street, Newalla, OK 74857-5307. The entrance is quite immediately past Red Oak Lane on the south side.

There is a large map showing these locations. On this map, chivalric practice is near O.U. where the baronial tornado shield is featured, and the other two practices are held where the shield that says "practice" is place on the map.

Where is Populace Meeting?

We are meeting at Denny's at the corner of Main Street and I-35 in Norman. We have the back room a little early (7 p.m.) and there is no requirement that anyone purchase anything.

Here is an SVG version of our baronial arms (9380 bytes) and one of our civil ensign (1496 bytes). These are graphic files that can be smoothly scaled to any size and most modern browsers can view them. Anyone from Namron can display the civil ensign and it is very distinctive for marking a campsite as belonging to someone from Namron.

Here is an SVG version of the arms of the canton (12589 bytes).

A schedule of day to day activities can be found in their own section, and other useful information can be found in our newsletters.

We have a collection of maps to various event sites and meeting places.
