The winds of change are upon Namron as Baron Donnchadh Beag mac Griogair has announced that he will be stepping down as Baron of Namron at Beltane 2010. We will miss his exuberance, pride and dedication as leader of this great barony as he has been outstanding in his role. As well, we look forward to the next baron and baroness of Namron to continue our journey into future.
The application period is now closed for the positions of Baron and Baroness of Namron. Details on applying and the points to be covered in the Letters of Intent are here . For questions pertaining to the polling process that are not covered on that page, please contact the Northern Regional Seneschal. The letters were due to the crown and populace Thursday, 12/5/09. The letters are published on their own pages.
Meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM at the Norman Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Their address is 1309 West Boyd St., Norman, OK. This is 1 block west of the intersection of W. Boyd St. and S. Berry Rd., halfway between Main St. and Lindsey St.
The 2nd Monday of each month will be an A&S meeting where people who miss the business meeting can catch up on what is happening while learning something new. Unofficial meeting notes should also be available on this site.
Chivalric fighter practices, also called heavy practice, is Sellers Rec Center from 7:00 PM to? on Wednesday evenings. Alexander will be there regardless of weather. Here  is a map to the site.
Archery practice is held each Sunday, weather permitting. Thrown Weapons (knife, axe, and spear) is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday and starts at 12:30 PM and archery at 2 PM at Lord Sebastiana's. The address is 19300 SE 149th Street, Newalla, OK 74857-5307. The entrance is quite immediately past Red Oak Lane on the south side.

Rapier fighter practice is held at Seller's Park in Oklahoma City at 7:00 p.m. every Tuesday except populace meeting nights. The address is Sellers Park. 8301 S Villa Avenue. Oklahoma City, OK 73159.

The first step is to contact someone from our group and let us know you are interested. The best person is our hospitaler . Then we can get together at a local practice or A&S night and see where your interests lay. There is more to the SCA than can be covered in a single website.
Events are our main activity and the culmination of all we do. They take place throughout the year. As it takes a little preparation for your first event, you should meet us at one of our weekly activities so we can help get you set up.

These are visible in the top corners of this page. The one that looks like it has a black tornado on it is the arms of the Barony and the one with the white wings is the arms of our Canton.

These are graphic files that can be smoothly scaled to any size and most modern browsers can view them. Anyone from Namron can display the civil ensign and it is very distinctive for marking a campsite as belonging to someone from Namron.
